Knitted Flounce Scarf

It is autumn here in New Hampshire. Leaves are almost gone, the air nice and crisp in the mornings.  Its is time for a new scarf!
Do you have one skein of a self-striping yarn?
Do you like knitting quick fun projects?
How about this ruffled scarf?

Knitted with a garter stitch and shaped with short rows, this scarf has soft-draping ruffles along its length.

It is not easy to find a pattern for a self-striping yarn. This one works well with solid colors as well as with stripes and marbled yarns.

Do you like the scarf? Do you want to knit it for you (and your mom, and your best friend ever and...  - you got the picture!).
