ReplyDeleteI just bought the pattern for this. I'm looking forward to knitting this, but as a pretty new knitter, I have one question. On the directions, where it calls for a "slip" as the first stitch, what does that mean? Do I just slip the first loop off onto the needle with no yarn through it?

It's been really causing me problems not knowing that.
HI Colleen - slip means move a stitch from a left needle to a right needle without doing anything else to it ( no knitting, no purling). Your yarn should be behind the work.
